Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show

On July. 4 Macy will hold their 43 Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show.

This Thursday the show will take place at the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn, NY. The fireworks will start at 9:20 p.m.

Jennifer Hudson, Grammy award-winning artist, will perform the song “Over the rainbow.” in honor of The Wizard of Oz turning 80 this year.

Public viewing locations will be available between the Manhattan Heliport and Pier 17 at the Seaport District. There are also other ways to have access to the fireworks show.Viewers can listen to the radio station 1010 WINS or on the television network NBC starting at 8 p.m.

Susan Tercero, the executive producer of Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, said she is excited to see friends and family spend time and enjoy the fireworks show.

“With the iconic Brooklyn Bridge as our centerpiece we will launch an unprecedented barrage of color, light, sounds, and shapes that will delight millions as the hum along to a patriotic musical score,” Tercero said.

In addition to the patriotic tribute, this year Macy’s, and its customers will gather charitable donations to support active duty military, veterans and military families.
